2020 is the name of the artwork painted by the local artist Frida Stiil Vium. "The wings in front of the girl's face are meant to symbolize the coronavirus, while the dove in the foreground represents hope for the future. Her dark skin is inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, while the weights in the dove's mouth stand for equality and justice," explains Frida.
Frida is only 23 years old, but for the past six years, she has been traveling the world with her spray cans and creative mind. This has resulted in many wonderful paintings, but this time has been something truly special. Frida's subjects are diverse, but this one has been particularly thought out. "As most people probably share my opinion about 2020, it has been a year filled with many unusual events – and I believe it's important to focus on the positive in these things," says Frida Stiil Vium.
