Organic single estate whiskey
Thy Whisky Distillery is a family-owned single estate whiskey distillery, which is housed on the organic family farm Gyrup.
Thy Whisky was founded in 2010 with the idea of creating a unique Danish Whiskey by combining local and Danish traditions and the classic single malt whiskey.
All stages of production from field to bottle take place here. The grain for the whiskey is grown on the farm's fields - both modern and old Danish varieties, which have been taken from the Nordic gene bank.
Thy Whiskey uses, among other things, book smoke and peat smoke for smoked whiskeys.
