The path runs through the town and can be used all year round, as it is cleared of snow during the winter. The path is paved and suitable for cycling, running, wheelchairs, strollers, and people with limited mobility.

In addition to the marked route, it is possible to take a walk around the lake on the opposite side of Lysgårdsvej. This area is primarily grassy and can be muddy during wet periods. Poles with signs have been set up along the route. This route is approximately 1.5 km.
