The whole town of Hurup will become the center of the Wool Days Thy knitting festival from September 18–20, 2026, with the Hurup Halls serving as the main hub for exciting talks, inspiring exhibitions, and cozy lounge areas where you can relax and meet fellow knitters.
Explore the many stalls where local and international exhibitors showcase their unique products and materials. And don’t forget the food stalls, serving delicious dishes that complete the festival experience. Once you’ve paid the entrance ticket, all events inside the Hurup Halls are free of charge.
The festival also offers more than 40 creative workshops, carefully curated to include something for everyone – from new knitters to experienced ones; for the young and the mature; for those who enjoy playful creativity as well as those who love to dive deep into techniques. We’ve even added a few crochet and embroidery classes that we hope you’ll enjoy.
The pedestrian street and the surrounding green, scenic areas will also host additional food stalls and lounge spaces, local shops, working studios, and creative activities – all creatively connected through what we call “The Yarn Route.”
