The Yvonne Stone

The Yvonne Stone is located by the beautiful Groest moor, north-east of Rørbæk Lake.

Groest Hede was used by the Danish Resistance Movement to receive weapons dropped by Britain's Royal Air Force under the codename YVONNE at the end of German occupation 1940-1945. In the year 1995, a monument was set up to honour the local fight for freedom.
