Christmas Market in Aalborg
Once again, you can find the Christmas market at Gammeltorv. The stands offer all you need to get into the holiday spirit. Don’t let the cold keep you away – there is warm glögg.
As soon as you arrive at Gammeltorv in the centre of Aalborg, the Christmas spirit surrounds you. It is the perfect place for a family excursion, as you will find all your Christmas heart’s desires – Christmas trees, glögg (mulled wine), hot chocolate, “æbleskiver” (Danish doughnuts), sugar-roasted almonds, half metre long hot dogs and giant frankfurters, Christmas decorations, and other classic holiday treats.
Here you'll get the chance to meet Santa Claus, take a ride on the big Ferris wheel or the Christmas train through Aalborg city's streets, as well as go through the market's many small cozy Christmas stands. Here you can pamper the taste buds with delicious Christmas treats, find beautiful crafts, and cozy Christmas clothes.

BLACK FRIDAY, 28 November: 12:00 noon–8:00 pm
From Saturday 19 December to 22 December inclusive, the Christmas market is open from 10:00 am–8:00 pm.
Wednesday 23 December: 10:00 am–5:00 pm.
