The beach is a great destination all year round - here you can eat packed lunches and build stone castles. The many summer guests staying at Søby Strand Camping make frequent use of the long jetty that leads directly to the beautiful sandy bottom.

You can also kite surf here and along the beach is the path that the locals call ‘Jørbæk Rundt’. It's a good walk of 3 kilometres from end to end.

The old fishermen's houses are located at the end of the beach called Vitsø Strand. The houses are still in use and the whole area around them is characterised by the maritime industry.
