Market day in Bogense

You can buy everything your heart desires at the market on Torvet in Bogense. There is market day every Thursday throughout the year on the beautiful old square. Here you can buy fruit, vegetables, cheese, flowers, vintage goods, handicrafts, and much more.

The square belongs to the oldest part of the city and is one of the best-preserved Danish market squares with the large open square, the small houses, and the old water pump in the middle.

Before Easter and Ascension Day, the market is held on Tuesday instead of Thursday.

Open every Thursday from 9 AM to 2:30 PM.

Please note that it is best to arrive in the morning if you want to be sure that the vendors have all their goods.

Note: The cheese truck is there every Thursday during the summer season from 9 AM to 5 PM.
